If a candidate is unable to take the exam at the scheduled date and time, they must report the matter. The following extenuating circumstances will be considered if a request to retake the exam is filed.
Evidence provided by the examinee forms the basis for a decision to be taken. It is the responsibility of the examinee to provide all the necessary information to TMI in order to support their special consideration request and retake the exam. The examinee can report the issue to TMI directly. Inadequate details or supporting evidence (such as hospital proof and a doctor's certificate) may have an impact on the outcome of the application.

Please note that the certification fee is non-refundable. However, if the case is not listed under our ‘no show’ policy, an additional fee of USD 50 will be charged to reapply. The examination can be scheduled from the myTMI dashboard after 14 days from the date of missing the appointment.
